This dwarf oak-leaf hydrangea already had good reddening in the leaves at the end of July when we examined it. The sterile florets are somewhat small. They are not overlapping and reveal the tint of pink in the sterile florets. The open panicles measure 5 inches. The foliage is also dwarf at about 4 inches in length.
