Container Size Information

The container sizes in which our plants are grown is indicated by our plant identification number. An entirely numeric number (000-001) indicates a plant grown in a 4-inch nursery container (3 7/8” X 3 7/8” X 4” Cross banded bottom)  or an equivalent division/propagation unit.  A “-1” at the end of a plant identification number (000-001-1) indicates the nursery equivalent of a “nursery one gallon” container or a number one division.  You may also find these additional codes designating other different sized containers at the end of our plant identification numbers:

Our plants are grown in container sizes that are most appropriate for good root system development.  It is our experience that strong root system development is the most important success factor for plants that have been container grown.
