 | Because Zauschneria x 'Callistoga' is prostrate in habit, it makes a good herbaceous ground cover, especially for a hillside or on a wall. The rounded, slightly bluish green leaves are soft to the touch. They are a nice complement to the brilliance of the scarlet, tubular flowers. As with other Zauschneria, both insect pollinators and hummingbirds rate this as a favorite plant.
