This compact, seemingly non-stop blooming perennial is ideal for containers and the front of the border. Its wiry foliage is an excellent backdrop for the clusters of showy flowers. Because Verbena 'Lapis Lazuli Blue' is small in size, it is easy to fit into a limited planting space where you want bright color throughout the bloom season. We have been pleased with its hardiness as well. The only drawback is the name of the plant which suggests that the flowers are blue. They are really blue purple.
