We grow this along the wrought-iron fence next to our driveway. Over the years the number of solar hours it receives has lessened, yet it still rewards us with its tall spikes of flowers and its evergreen leaves. This form of Salvia officinalis is especially good for flavoring and we are always pleased when we can combine the ornamental with the culinary in our garden.

Early to midsummer.  30 in. x 36 in.
