Hailing from Australia, Pratia pedunculata has proven a vigorous spreader, succeeding in difficult, shady sites, even dry ones. Tiny rounded leaves grow on stems tightly pressed to the earth. Starry blue flowers appear throughout the summer giving rise to the common name Blue star creeper. This can be aggressive in the wrong situation.
