We planted this in our new hillside garden as a backdrop for the penstemons, lavenders and salvias. We also wanted to see if this is truly shorter than the species. It is and that is what makes it suitable for smaller gardens. Even so, do give Perovskia a. `Little Spire' all day sun and good drainage to keep it upright and not floppy. The all-summer show makes this such a fine complement to other mediterranean shrubs and perennials. The silvery stems remain attractive through early winter.

June to frost.   1.5-2 ft. x 1.5-2 ft.
