Hebe 'Wingletye' was selected in 1971 by Graham Hutchins of County Park Nurseries, England. One of its parents is thought to be H. 'Glauca-caerulea', a plant that appears to be the parent of several other plants from County Park Nurseries but which we have never grown. 'Wingletye' is a prostrate evergreen shrub with small gray green leaves. The glaucous foliage contrasts sharply with the attractive purple stems. June to August. 8 in. x 40 in.
