 | This boldly variegated herbaceous perennial brightens up shady woodland borders. The young leaves are streaked in creamy yellow. As they age, their variegation becomes mostly cream-colored. The flowers of Geranium phaeum 'Margaret Wilson' are delicate and nodding, but they are only a bonus. The real pleasure comes from the splash of luminous foliage in a darkened garden.
