(This is sometimes sold as Fuchsia magellanica 'Aurea'.) The yellow-green foliage of Fuchsia 'Aurea' is exceptionally vibrant and eye-catching especially when contrasted with the red flowers. Blooms have narrow red tubes and sepals over a short rose-purple corolla. Stems and veins turn magenta in late fall when the plant is grown in full sun in the Pacific Northwest. Very hardy for the Pacific Northwest.
