This is one of a series of clematis introduced by Clearview Nursery in British Columbia, Canada, under the series name Vancouver. Clematis 'Vancouver Morning Mist' (Clearview Nursery) is a cross between C. 'Souvenir du Capitaine Thuilleaux' and C. 'Kathleen Wheeler', both excellent plants. The impressive flowers are seven to nine inches in width. Their frilled margins reveal hints of bright pink from the reverse of the sepals. A central boss of white filaments with yellow anthers subtly complements the flower color. All of our Clematis are two year old plants that are suitable for immediate planting in your garden.

Spring to autumn.  6-8 ft.

Blush pink flowers

Because this blooms on the previous year's wood, do not cut it back hard at the end of winter. Groom it after its first round of bloom in the spring. Be sure to feed it at that time to encourage good new growth and bloom.
