This open-pollinated seedling of C. 'Ernest Markham' has all the vigor of its known parent. The red purple sepals of Clematis `Stasik' have a slightly paler central bar that becomes more pronounced as the flower ages. In sharp contrast, the base of the filaments is white turning purple near the anther tip which is a dull red purple. The name `Stasik' is short for Stanislav. All of our Clematis are two year old plants that are suitable for immediate planting in your garden. Raised by Maria F. Sharonova in the former USSR in 1972.

June to October.  4-6 ft.
