Joy Creek Photo Archive (c) all rights reserved	Sometimes Clematis 'Mevrouw Le Coutre'('Madame Le Coutre') is said to be the same as 'Marie Boisselot' but this form is supposed to be hardier. The early flowers open with a lilac cast but soon fade to white. The filaments are white with anthers that are whitish aging to black.
