Clematis 'Fudo' is one of the last selections made by our friend, the hybidizer Kazushige Ozawa. It was named and released by his nephew Mikiyoshi Chikuma in 2004. This reaches about 9 feet in a season and produces masses of bell-shaped flowers throughout the summer. Mr. Ozawa reported that this is a cross with Clematis texensis. It is named for the Japanese god of fire who was revered by Mr. Ozawa's father. All of our Clematis are two year old plants that are suitable for immediate planting in your garden.

Mid-May to August.  9 ft.
