The tiny silvery foliage of this rock garden ground cover is so dense it always makes customers take a second look. Is that really a plant? Named for the Spanish town of Alfacar near Granada, it is easy to imagine the heat and drought of its native terrain. We have been successful growing Arenaria alfacarensis in well-draining, gravely soils with limited summer water.

Early to late summer.   1/2 in. x 6 in.

White flowers
