For many years we have trialed Peruvian lillies in our garden. They bloom for such a long time that their bright flowers with interesting markings have become a mainstay in our gardens. We acquired Alstroemeria 'Red' from Eidelweiss Nursery in Oregon. We admire the rich rosy primary color of the flowers, the contrasting patch of soft yellow at the base of the petals and the playful dark streaks up the interior to the petals.
