Agastache 'Apricot Sunrise (Du Fresne) is a cross between two New Mexican hyssops. It has lance-shaped gray green leaves with a citrusy-anise scent. It needs good drainage to survive our northwest winters but is very happy in our dry summers. The tubular flowers are well-known for attracting hummingbirds, but also appeal to bees and butterflies.

Summer to fall.  18 in. x 18 in.

If grown organically the flowers of Agastache `Apricot Sunrise' can be used as a culinary herb with a light citrus flavor.
