This herbaceous hellebore comes from the Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina area of Europe. The very lobed leaves have hairy undersides. Flowers face outward and downward and appear either singly or in clusters of two to five. Thanks to our friend Ginney Baughn who shared this plant with us.
