The hairy, somewhat rounded, leaves on this Northwest native take on purple highlights in cold weather. During much of the growing season Tellima grandiflora sports coral bell-like terminal racemes of small white flowers that are often tinged pink and have a light fragrance. This is an attractive plant to naturalize in a woodland setting. It stays semi-evergreen.
Late spring to midsummer. 32 in. x 12 in.
