It is the first of all of our lungworts to bloom, continuing its flower show from March to May. Clusters of bright rosy pink buds open to purple blue flowers that mature to bright blue. The rounded leaves are nicely splotched with silver on their apple green surfaces. Pulmonaria 'Early Bird' has the vigor and beauty we look for in a good garden plant.
