Primula 'Cowichan Red' is a polyanthus type primula with flowers of uniform velvety garnet red. The textured foliage is flushed bronze.

| The Cowichan Series of primulas are noted for flowers that have no central yellow eye. We raised these from seed received from the American Primula Society and selected the following color forms which we propagate by divisions. |
