Joy Creek Photo Archive (c) all rights reserved
The name Lavandula 'Kew-Red' refers to the Kew-Redding Plant Expedition to Spain where this Spanish lavender was found. Extremely free-flowering short evergreen shrub with short flower stems. The foliage is aromatic.

Summer to fall.  10 in. x 12 in.

Pink flowers

Sun     Zones (7), 8, 9
This is a selection in Lavandula section stoechas. Lavenders need full sun and very good drainage. Because of our rainy winters, we amend our soil with 1/4 ten gravel and top dress with the same to keep plant stems and foliage from resting on wet soil.
