Lavandula 'England' appears to be a cross between Lavandula angustifolia subsp. angustifolia and L. lanata. The short silvery foliage is very tight and the plant overall has a dense growth habit. It is sweetly aromatic to the touch.

July to September.  12 in. x 15 in.

Violet-Blue flowers

Sun     Zones 6, 7, 8, 9
This is a cultivar of Lavandula angustifolia. Lavenders need full sun and very good drainage. Because of our rainy winters, we amend our soil with 1/4 ten gravel and top dress with the same to keep plant stems and foliage from resting on wet soil.
