We have been very happy to find that Halimium calycinum are winter hardy for us. Although they may soon be reclassified as Cistus, for now we leave them with the name by which we have known them. The rosemary-like foliage is green rising on ruddy stems. In habit this grows outward but remains upright. Give it a warm sunny slope or rockery.
