Some years it seems that Grevillea victoriae is never out of bloom. Coral pink clusters of tiny shrimp-like flowers hide discreetly underneath the evergreen foliage attracting hummingbirds all winter here in the Pacific Northwest. The attractive olive green leaves have silvery undersides that are visible because of the angle at which they are held on the stems. A Great Plant Picks selection.

Winter to summer.  6 ft. x 5 ft.

Orange flowers

Sun     Zones 7, 8, 9
Note: Grevilleas originate in areas with mostly phosphorous deficient soils. An application of a balanced fertilizer will likely kill most Grevilleas and many of the other Proteaceae varieties.
