China. This valuable vine was introduced to the west by the plant explorer E.H. Wilson in 1900. Clematis armandii 'Snowdrift' is the best known of the evergreen clematis. Clusters of white flowers with delicious vanilla scent in February. Keep out of strong winter winds. Groom after bloom. Clematis armandii is a Great Plant Picks selection. All of our Clematis are two year old plants that are suitable for immediate planting in your garden.
