Clematis 'Girenas' (L. Bakevicius, 1994) was named for a Lithuanian pilot who crashed in Germany during a flight home from New York. The pink flowers have a red purple bar and the anthers are dark pink. This is described as being richer in color than Clematis 'Piilu'. All of our Clematis are two year old plants that are suitable for immediate planting in your garden.
