Clematis 'Emilia Plater' (Franczak, 1989) is a free-flowering beauty. The somewhat small, nodding flowers have a puckered texture to their sepals. Despite all of the abuse she has experienced in various garden renovations, she still performs like a trouper, covering her trellis in flowers throughout the summer.

Midsummer to late summer.  8-10 ft.

Violet Blue flowers

This smaller flowered Clematis blooms throughout the summer. It is carefree, disease resistant and very generous of bloom. Prune hard at the end of winter.
