This is a seedling from our original Agapanthus 'Joyful Blue' which has proven to be one of the hardiest of all Agapanthus for our region. Agapanthus 'Joyful Blue Too' was selected because it has the same vigor and hardiness as its parent. Just like its parent, it is a mid-sized herbaceous plant but its globe-like flowers are darker. They are borne on sturdy, 30-inch stems. They are a favorite with the butterflies in our garden. When the flowers have finished their display, they form large seedheads that remain attractive for most of the summer.
