Perhaps a form of M. axillaris. Shiny, small, dark green leaves are sparsely distributed down wiry dark red-brown stems. The tiny yellow green flowers appear in the leaf-axils. Use this spreading shrub to cover banks and other difficult sunny, dry areas. Late summer to mid-autumn 8 in. x spreading. Yellow Green flowers Sun Zones 8-10 |
