Often found growing in colonies at the edges of woods in the foothills around Mt. Adams, WA, this beautiful sunflower brings its glow to the midsummer garden. Stately stems carry single composite flowers composed of one-inch ray florets surrounding a yellow central disk. This is rarely found in cultivation but should be a welcome addition to the natural dry border.

Midsummer.  2-4 ft. x 1 ft.
