Trailing abutilon. Brazil. This has survived some severe winters with no damage. Because it comes back from the roots each year it rarely reaches its full height. Nonetheless, it blooms well. The yellow flowers emerge from large red calyces and hang like Christmas ornaments from the branches. We allow this to trail and also prop up flowering stems so they are fully visible to customers.
