A Joy Creek Introduction for 2006. This seedling appeared in our garden next to G. rosmarinifolia but in all ways it is larger than that plant. The only other possible parent would be G. 'Canberra Gem' which grows about 30 ft. away. The needle-like foliage is broader than that of either of them. It is also taller, reaching over 7 ft. The orange-brown buds are much larger than those of the other two. This is nicely open-habited with a tree-like shape. The scarlet-orange flowers reminded us of fireworks.

November to April.  7 ft. x 3 ft.
