This remarkable shrub was developed by Ron Williams of Scenic View Nursery in Green Bay, Wisconsin. It has the upright habit of Rhamnus frangula 'Columnaris' and the fine, narrow green foliage of R. frangula 'Asplenifolia' but it does not have the invasive nature of the species. It makes a dramatically textured specimen shrub in a mixed border. Late spring and early summer. 5-7 ft. x 3 ft. Green flowers Sun, Part Shade Zones 2-9 |
