The 8-inch, rounded, leathery leaves are shallowly scalloped on their margins. They take on red tones in the winter. In early spring, the white flowers, which give the plant its name, emerge from pink buds. These flowers slowly fade to pink as they age. Early to mid-spring. 12-18 in. x 18-24 in.
