| Over the years we have collected unusually colored hellebores and placed them in disparate parts of our gardens to try to keep the seed strains as pure as possible. The color describes the parent of the seed. The offspring should resemble the parents closely. There will be variations in freckling and streaking. Foliage should be cut back in winter to allow the bloom stalks to show and grow. GPP | |
