Caucasus. This lovely selection of the species is distinguished by the color of its flowers which is violet as opposed to the more common white. Otherwise, it shares with the species the distinctive rounded lobes of the leaves as well as their somewhat pebbled upper surfaces. The flowers are gappy but that does not detract from their beauty. A close-up look shows the dark veining accenting their petals. Good drainage is essential to keep it happy.
