When this first bloomed in our gardens, it stopped everyone in their tracks. Tapered white sepals with bright rose pink bars flaring from their bases. Semi-double in spring, single later. Late spring to summer; late summer. 8-10 ft. White/Bright Rose Pink flowers Sun, Part Shade Zone 4-9 |
| Early flowering in the spring on the previous year's growth. If you hard prune, you eliminate most or all of the early blooms. Instead, groom this after flowering by cutting back the top one-third to one-half of some stems. This encourages new growth for possible summer bloom. | |
