Bolivia. We have grown this now for several years but always protect it during the winter so we are uncertain of the hardiness of this salvia. We are certain, however, of its beauty. The stamens and styles extend 3/4's of an inch beyond the ends of the brilliant scarlet flowers giving them a tropical flavor. The arrowhead-shaped leaves are mid-green and lightly hairy to the touch. Summer to autumn. bloom 15-18 in. x 15 in. Scarlet flowers Sun Zones (8)9-10 |
