The garden would seem lonely without this long-blooming perennial. Lots of small tubular flowers in ten-inch inflorescences. The calyces are almost black and persist attractively after the flowers have fallen. Cut back spent flower spikes for a continuous show. Summer to frost. bloom 5 ft. x 4 ft.
