This small evergreen shrub from the mountains of northern Mexico has small, midgreen, aromatic foliage. It is somewhat rangy in habit and should be cut back at the end of winter to promote new growth and to keep it compact. The flowers bloom until first frost and are a good source of food for late insects and hummingbirds. Very attractive in a Mediterranean style border.
Summer to first frost. bloom 3 ft. x 3 ft.
