Very reminiscent of Penstemon cobaea. The lilac-pink flowers are medium sized with magenta streaking in their throats. The foliage is lance-shaped, short, and mid-green. The buds are cream deepening to lilac.

Summer to first frost. bloom   2-2.5 ft. x 2.5 ft.

All of the garden hybrid Penstemon need full sun and well-drained soil. Mulch only with gravel in order to discourage crown rot. It is not necessary to fertilize Penstemon.
