Miss Willmott's ghost. Before we converted the mixed border, this biennial/short lived perennial held court near a central path. The striking, silvery green, spiny bracts which surround the large umbels age to buff by late summer. The flowers are as haunting as the common name. Late summer. bloom 3 ft. x 2 ft.
